About the program
Our Legatus program’s focus is simple: To provide the platform, guidance and support to host a successful Model UN conference of grand design and scale. We primarily act as knowledge and logistical partners by providing assistance in all aspects. We at InterMind believe in being the stepping stones for the shaping of diplomats of the future.
Why host a MUN?
MUNs have been around for the larger part of six decades now and even prestigious institutions like Harvard and Yale host their own Model UN conferences, which are open for participants across the world.
The reason is simple:

MUNs have proven to be effective models for embedding leadership skills, lobbying skills and much more and;

Through simulation based teaching processes that MUNs offer, students are exposed to real world problems and are made to think of issues from a diplomatic perspective. Eventually this empowers the students to understand global politics and general knowledge of world affairs and opens the student to a world outside classroom academics and makes them more holistic.

That being said, hosting an MUN can be a tiresome task as it involves various factors such as choosing agendas, finding qualified executive board and delegates.
